Year 96 AC
Simon Vandar begins to breed a large horse with a great temperament but large enough to carry men in armor. They are trained to respond to leg commands, won't let anyone but their owner take them, and can attack with their huge hooves. Though there isn't a great demand for chargers of any kind, Simon knows the rich will pay extra for horses that can't be stolen. They are expensive, but people begin to flock to his door.
