Today I am showing some of the noble Houses and their major exports or services they are known for. These are the first three Houses' noble Houses, (at the time of the Thundercrag campaign). Feel free to add in a noble House of your own choosing, to any of the House noble Houses I present. I know sometimes you want to have somewhere for your PCs or NPCs to come from which may or may not fit into my structure. As a side note, my Bloodhelm noble Houses just happened as we were playing our campaign, so let your creative juices flow!
As an aid, noble Houses are usually created because a Knight, a distant relative, or someone who provides a large service for the main House is granted the status of nobility. Keep this in mind when creating your own noble Houses. Banners are usually one main focus with a solid field and a trim of the main House's color.
1) Korthan is known for Black Crow Ale.
2) Malea is known for cocoa beans.
3) Peacock is known for mercenaries. The original noble House was started by the
leader of the Dancing Peacocks, a band of adventurers who all used rapiers.
Cole Noble Houses
1) Foxfire is known for its deep-sea
fishing fleet.
2) Slenderreed is the salt producer of House Cole.
3) Salay is known for their fine warhorses which anyone with
money or prestige covet.
Brightwater Noble Houses
1) Shipwright is known for ship
building.
2) Deepwater is a large northern to southern trade
company. They are solely a trade house
between Ariella and Taina.
3) Ripple is known for magic items pertaining to ships and
sailors.
